Essential organic Herbs and Spices contain no colourings, flavourings, preservatives or additives of any kind. The fennel plant is tall and feathery, with yellow seeds and bulbous root, eaten as a vegetable. The seed is generally used to make tea; 1 tsp/5ml per cup of boiling water, stir 3-5 mins. Was commonly used to soothe stomach problems or asthmatic conditions and as a gargle for coughs and sore throats.
